Build up to World War two
Hitler occupies Rhineland in 1938. British cabinet meet and make a statement "There is no reason to suppose that the present German action implies a threat of hostilities" Chamberlain is negotiating a 25 year peace treaty with the Germany. Lots of shots of crowds welcoming the German troops into the Rhineland, mainly waving handkerchiefs. Macho poses from the troops looking hard !
