A race between the 'Flying Scotsman' train, a De Havilland Puss Moth (piloted by Geoffrey De Havilland) and an outboard motorboat with Miss Elto Mycroft at the wheel 1930's

The scene is set in a field near the line near Huntingdon where details are agreed. Unfortunately, the cameras could only record one or two basic shots of the race with Gresley LNER Class A3 4-6-2 No 4475 Flying Fox so others were added for effect which are all supposed to be the same train. First, a GNR 'C1' 4-4-2 is seen and then Gresley Class 'A3' 4-6-2 No 2549 Persimmon bobs up to complete one of those carefree newsreels of the early days.
