Interesting and rare item about African children who make and play with some unique toys which Professor Thompson speaks about. Made entirely of packing case wire and containing a wealth of detail. Lorry, car, bulldozer etc. Ingenious steering mechanisms and a bulldozer with windlass. Different types of steering are employed for various models. Scrap wire and strong teeth along with much dexterity results in some quite remarkable models built by children who live in primitive conditions.
