Seaside resort town of Llandudno in Wales, the pier and beach with the Great Orme railway, 1930's.

A record of the cable-operated Great Orme railway at Llandudno, Wales, using the San Francisco-style traction cable in a slot in the road driven from a central power station. When this film was made, the system was still worked by stationary steam engines, now replaced by electro motors.
