London | 1900 | Silent | B/W
Petticoat Lane street market, London around 1904 showing the second hand clothes stalls, some jewish influence apparent with jewish shop names in this part of the East End of London.
Very busy street scene quite rough and ready, lots of people, men in caps walking around buying and selling. There is interest in the filming. Camera moves past various shops, two of which are "R. Isaacs" and "S. Ginsberg" of Sidney Street. Sign for watches. A man stands up high giving the hard sell, gesticulating with his hands. A woman on a trouser stall and a man holding a pair up to himself.
