Speedometer production 1960's
Speedometer flickers between 30 and 50 miles per hour.
Woman driving along country road in open topped car (Hillman Minx?) and wearing a head scarf pulls into a garage to have her speedometer fixed. White coated garage attendant holds driver's door open for woman to get out of car. Woman walks through gateway in white picket fence onto railway platform. Close up of hand picking up old phone receiver. Smiths Factory where speedometers are made and checked. Good close up of young woman wearing bright red lipstick as she adjusts dial of speedometer reel. Mini van makes delivery to garage. Red Mini car driving along four urban four lane-road. Nice piece with apparently broken down grey blue car by side of country road. Man is closing boot as he takes a fuel container or petrol can from the rear storage are. He walks down road with empty fuel can. Driving in busy traffic. Point of view from inside car as it travels around bend on fairly quiet British motorway. Woman is shown into her open topped car and drives off from garage forecourt.
