Gene Tunney V Georges Carpentier. July 24, 1924. Polo Grounds, New York. Starts with round fourteen. Carpentier being badly beaten, referee tries to stop fight and Carpentier brushes him away . Carpentier knocked out by Tunney.

Harry Wills V Paulino Uzcuddin. July 13, 1927. Brooklyn, New York. Starts with round four. Wills down for count of eight, followed quickly by a knockout.

Jack Dempsey V Jack Sharkey. July 21, 1927. Yankee Stadium, New York. Starts with round six. Sharkey knocked out in the seventh.

Joe Louis V James J. Braddock. June 22, 1937. Chicago, Illinois. First round and Louis goes down for count of one. Round eight Braddock knocked out. Joe Louis is the new heavyweight champion of the world.
