A truck driver in 1940's model lorry with white bumper and white stripe on wing edges plus no headlamps but blanking plates over headlamp apertures. He talks about children and the danger of playing near roads. In order to show children the dangers, he takes a group for a ride in his lorry to Wednesbury near Birmingham. A child has a close shave near a school and kids playing marbles are nearly run over. At his delivery address, the driver eats his sandwiches with the children. Includes the following scenes: Dodgems at a fun-fair, street scenes with numerous vehicles of 1930's and 1940's; shops; see-saws at a playground; boys with short trousers; children on toy scooters; close ups of the children's faces; old type school sign. Evidently a war time or just after film
