A feeble looking Ben Turpin masquerading as a glamourous film star dances in his pyjamas 1920's

Turpin visits his friend, the chorus girl Deirdre Divine. Girls rehearse high kicks backstage. Deirdre plays the woebegotten woman. She follows Turpin home. Meanwhile his fiancee and her mother come to visit. Fierce competition for Turpin's affections. Deirdre threatens to kill herself. Uproar in Turpin's house as he attempts to "take tea" with his guests. He drinks from a moustache cup. Deirdre has a gun and starts smashing things up as Turpin attempts to restore calm.
