Anti smoking film with a science fiction flavour 1970's
Child archaeologists in the future in the year 3096. Futuristic buildings (actually Queen Elizabeth Hall on the South Bank in London). A computer analyses things the children have dug up. They date a cigarette rolling machine to 1973 - oh no Its owner died of smoking! The kids are taken by benign thought policeman to see artefacts and film related to smoking. Man with bronchitis. Teleportation. Man is beamed away a la 'Star Trek'. Kids beam down to a film show in a school in 1973 about the hazards of smoking. Ironically the school teacher and pupils then all have a cigarette.
