A NHS hospital operating at its best 1960's
Baby brought in to St James Hospital, Balham, London. Ambulance arrives, boy examined by nurse, takes temperature. Clerk takes notes on him. Casualty Department in action. X-ray department, radiographer at work. Back at the ward, examining X-ray, pathology laboratory examines blood samples, microscope used. Children's ward, occupations therapist plays with children. Exercising limbs, doctor on his rounds, pharmacy, chief pharmasist, weighing drugs, sterile room, out patients, dietician at work, physiotherapy in the gym, Johnnie's case discussed with social worker, Johnnie goes off in hospital car.
