Synopsis:

Adobe Village
- Valley of Mexico
Mexico's capital known as Mexico City views of streets and buildings, people and culture. Two nearby volcanoes known as 'The Smoking Mountain' and 'The white woman'.
A village built round an old Spanish church, its community including a family on a small farm. Clay blocks being made and dried in the sun. The local grocers with a corn mill for grinding corn to make bread. Weaving patterned blankets worn as cloaks 'poncho'. Primitive agriculture - growing maize and beans. Oxon pulling plough. Cactus growing to produce the Mexican drink 'pulque'. Maize being harvested. The village school.
