Ventricular puncture into lateral Ventricle. A man with shaven head is marked with a cross before a hole is drilled throuch his scalp and skull 4cm to right of middle line in front of Rolandic fissure.
Cisternal or Sub Occipital Puncture. A needle is inserted immediately above 2nd cervical spine (base of neck). A pencil is in the mans ear to guide the aim of the needle.
Lumbar Puncture. A needle is inserted between L4 and L5 laminae marked by a line on the patient.
