Synopsis:

Broadway, New York. Streets at night with neon signs.Jack Dempsey's restaurant - speech with Paul Whiteman talking to Rudy Vallee. Chorus girls. Sophie Tucker in nightclub appearance. Over a minute of Sophie Tucker in a nightclub appearance in the Hollywood Restaurant in New York in 1935. She walks on stage, bows to the audience and prepares to sing. She introduces a couple of famous women in the audience - radio and stage star Beatrice Lily and popular stage comedienne Fanny Brice. She then sings 'You Left Me, Honey'
NBC radio recording studio. Al Jolson sings with band in rehearsal.
