Liner arrives. Arrivals receive blossom necklaces. Woman greets other woman by kissing her. They embrace. Little girl kisses her little brother. Her mother kisses her. Panorama over city. Aloha Tower. Old Palace. Court House with statue of King Kamehameha. Cultural Ambassador Duke Kahanamoku. Exotic flowers. Man climbs palm tree and brings down coconuts. Shows coconuts to camera. Volcano called Kilauea with boiling lava. Very good film of grass-skirted Hula Hula dancers watched by large crowd and accompanied by women playing small guitars. Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head promontory. Surfers and surf boards. Native canoes riding on waves.
Surfer carries woman on shoulders. Surfer jumps from surf board to surf board. Surfer carries his big board (about two metres long and very heavy) up beach. Beach scenes. Group of people sit under beach umbrellas. People bathing, holiday makers on sands. Liner prepares to leave dockside. Lots of streamers thrown over side of ship. Caption reads: "Til we meet again, aloha oe". People on quayside wave goodbye with ship and streamers in background. Short clip in long shot of grass-skirted girls dancing accompanied on small guitars. Two women wave from deck of liner.
