Filmed in and around the village of Lithradonda in Cyprus showing Nicos and his family ploughing their land whilst the goats belonging the goatherd Vassis (who is asleep) eat their olive tree leaves. The goats are chased away and the goatherd is banished from the village. Later in a mountain village Vassos leaves his goats to roam and damage the olive trees of hillside farms. This results in more trouble so he seeks revenge by setting fire to the forest. Vassos is chased and caught and he eventually sells his goats and becomes a farmer. Closes with traditional Easter dance in the village.
