Animated stick men throwing crates around until they are dropped. Introduction of Charlie Burke who likes smashing crates of fruit in half. An animated character jumping on crates. Charlie's bosses get into trouble, greengrocer receives damaged fruit which the mother of six doesn't wish to buy. Farmer - growing and packing fruit only for it to be damaged. Charlie is called a slob and sings a sad song. Then Charlie is next seen lying on a psychiatrist's chair where he is hypnotised and forced to imagine a world full of people who don't care: full of Charlie Burkes - cigarettes collapse, dinner is spilt etc. Charlie is a reformed character - "a new man". Another song is then sung. Educational film for workers.
