England in the sixteenth century
View of parkland and road to large stately home. Title screen appears giving date of 1577. Two riders gallop up the road to the house and dismount. The pikesmen stand to attention an the men enter the house. One nobleman speaks with young richly dressed woman possibly Queen Elizabeth I, with large millstone collar. During a fairly heated conversation the man moves around the room and finishes leaning over the desk where a candle is lit. Surmise this is a conversation (reconstructed) between Sir Francis Drake and Queen Elizabeth I either before or after his voyage round the world.
