Male interviewee asked if population of Havana terrified when invasion occurred - states that it was quiet in Havana; they did not hear news from outside Havana. Canadian male interviewee asked what it was like during American invasion of Cuba - says that people in Havana supporting Castro, particularly as Havana being bombed; states that people knew that there had been an invasion; talks of Cubans defending a beach-head surrounded by marshes. No anti-American feeling in Havana.
1.5.61: May Day parade, Cuba. Fidel Castro. Shot of television with very poor quality images of parade.
