History of the line told in stills. John Taylor, chairman of the Winchester and Alton railway talks about the closure of the railway and attempts to keep it open. Charles Lewis director of the Winchester and Alton railway talks about how money was raised to re-open it. Remains of track and restoration of scrap engines.
