Synopsis:

British Rail promotes their cyclists special. Excursion trains from London to Rugby. Three cyclist (two men and one woman) cycling towards camera along English street. Arrive at railway station, dismount. Two male cyclist arrive at station (cars in background). Carry bikes upstairs with the station, Watford Junction. Two men reach platform level via a lift without walls. Sticking identification numbers in bikes. Van converted to take bikes, bikes are hung vertically by front wheel. Cyclists embark train. Cyclists on train looking at map on table. Buffet car, tea and biscuits. Shots of rural England from moving train. H.H. England, editor of the magazine 'Cycling'. Signpost to Kilworth and Market Harborough. Cycling through Stratford Upon Avon and views of its church. Group eating and drinking around table and on grass. Cycling into Husbands Bosworth. Pushing cycles up hill, along Union Canal at Foxton, Leicestershire. Brick bridge over canal. Battle of Naseby Monument. The Fitzgerald Arms Public House. Cyclist drinking beer in the pub. Tandem, father in front, child with pig behind. Sign post for Rugby (A428), Weedon (A5), and Atherstone(A5). Back at Rugby Midland Station and on train returning to London. Bicycles.
