A week in the life of Derek Ware as a stuntman with excerpts from his work 1970's
Derek pursued by two policemen as he escapes from a police station. Feature film. Chris analyses the stunts and talks to the stuntman. Fight arranging. The chase and fight goes from the station over the roof. Policeman falls. Leaps onto lorry. Policeman throws handcuffed man into canal at Little Venice, London.
Demonstrations of stunts. Padding up. Wearing protection. Use of boxes and mattresses. Make-up artists puts wound on Derek. Frogman checks water to see if it is safe. Diver talks of innoculations against tetanus because the canal is "virtually an open sewer". Plate glass window.
